MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Cecil Claude Hoyle, 22 Feb 2005

SPRUCE PINE - Cecil Claude Hoyle, 80, of Earl's Repair Shop Road, died
Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. He was the son of
the late Ernest and Effie Murphy Hoyle. He was also preceded in death by a
brother, Lee Hoyle. A U.S. Army veteran of WWII, he had worked for the
Mitchell County School System for 45 years. He was a member of Liberty Hill
Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Willis Hoyle of the home; daughters, Sondra
Waycaster and Patricia McClellan, both of Spruce Pine; sisters, Beulah Reece,
Evelyn Byrd and Wilma Howell, all of Spruce Pine; brothers, James and Roy
Hoyle, both of Spruce Pine; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Revs. David Philbeck, Greg Hollifield and Dean Honeycutt officiated. Burial
was in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday
at Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
