MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Arline Huskins, 1 Jan 2004

BAKERSVILLE - Arline Huskins, 87, of the Lily Branch community, 
died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. 
She was the daughter of the late John and Leona Young Hoyle, 
and wife of the late Sherrill Huskins. She was also preceded in 
death by a son, Bill Huskins.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirlene Phillips of Durham; and 
a brother, Howard Hoyle of Bakersville. 
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Friday in the Grindstaff 
Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Matthew 
Grindstaff officiated. Burial was at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lily 
Branch Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 
the service hour at the funeral home.
