Henline-Hughes Funeral Home
Myrtle Gouge Ingram, age 87, passed away February 2, 2009, in Bakersville, NC.  
She was a homemaker and the daughter of the late Rom and Essie McKinney Gouge.  
She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Middle District Freewill Baptist 
Church and attended Cub Creek Baptist Church.  

Survivors include:  son, Ralph Edward Crawford and wife Ethel of Bakersville, 
NC, sisters, Hettie Burgner of Bakersville, NC, Ada Potter of Lake Wales, FL, 
Shirley G. Ingram of Simpsonville, SC, sister in law, Dixie Gouge, of Johnson 
City, TN, Angie Crawford of Chester, VA, wife of the late Wayne Douglas 
Crawford Jr., grandchildren, Rhonda Lynn Valls, Deborah Ann Tomack, and Lori 
Edwards, great grandchildren, D.J. Valls II, Anthony Michael Valls, Jordan and 
Macy Edwards.  

She was preceded in death by: son, Wayne Douglas Crawford and wife Dorothy, 
grandson, Wayne Douglas Crawford Jr, brothers, Ralph and Paul Dean Gouge, 
sister, Lois Gouge, husbands, Edgar M. Crawford and Luther Ingram.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 9:00 PM at the 
Middle District Freewill Baptist Church in Bakersville, NC.  The family will 
receive friends two hours prior to the service.  Stephen Miller and Scotty 
Jenkins will be officiating the service.  Interment will be Friday, February 6, 
2009 at 1:00 PM in the Malone Gouge Cemetery on Hwy 261 in Bakersville, NC.
