She was the daughter of the late Joe and Carolina Des, and wife of the late Dewey Ingram Jr. She was retired from Ellen's Knitting Mill and was a member of Middle District Freewill Baptist Church and the Bakersville chapter of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Joyce Ingram of Bakersville; two brothers- in-law, I.D. and W.C. Ingram, both of Johnson City, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Middle District Freewill Baptist Church. The Revs. Bud Edwards, Scotty Jenkins, and Steve Miller officiated. Burial followed in Ingram Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville assisted the family.
