LOIS JONES 
 
SPRUCE PINE - Lois Jones, 77, of the Minpro community, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 
2005 in a Knoxville, TN hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and 
Ina Jones Suddreth, and wife of the late Ernest S. Jones.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Pitman of Spruce Pine; a son, Ernest Gene 
Jones of Knoxville; two sisters, Virginia McKinney of Spruce Pine and Wanda 
Weatherman of Lewisville; a brother, Kenneth Suddreth of Spruce Pine; five 
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel 
of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Greg Hollifield officiated. Burial 
was in Pine Branch Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 p.m. until the 
service hour Friday at the funeral home.
