JOHNSON BAKERSVILLE – Mollie Hoilman Johnson, 86, now of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died Thursday, November 15. She was the daughter of the late James M. and Myra Bailey Hoilman, and wife of the late Jessie Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Cub Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Shirley J. Vickers of Ft. Lauderdale; four sons, T.W. Johnson of Newnan, GA, Charles R. and Marvin Johnson of Conley, GA, and Eugene Johnson of Dallas, GA; one sister, Estelle Phillips of Dallas, NC; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Jack Callahan, Rufus Biddix, Jr., and Thomas Aman officiated. Burial was at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Berry Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
