MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Robert B. Jones, 25 Feb 2005

SPRUCE PINE - Robert B. Jones, 75, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005 in a Johnson
City hospital. He was the son of the late Ragan and Minnie Carroll Jones. He
was also preceded in death by a son, Roger B. Jones. He was a U. S. Army
veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Autrey of Burnsville; sisters, Wilma
King of Littlestown, PA, and Edna Padgett of Taylorsville; a brother, Billy
Jones of Spruce Pine; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grindstaff Memorial
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Revs. Darrin Waldroup and Charles
Willis officiated. Burial was in Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family
received friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour Saturday.
