CONNIE GUNTER KERR

SPRUCE PINE - Connie Gunter Kerr, 84, of the Altapass community, died 
Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Alvin 
and Bertie Pitman Gunter, and wife of the late Lewis Kerr. A member of 
Beaver Creek Baptist Church, she was a former employee of The Mica Depot.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Glenn of Spruce Pine, and LaDonna 
Biggerstaff of Bristol, TN; three grandsons; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Beaver Creek Baptist Church. 
Revs. Joel Burton and Pat Johnson officiated. Burial followed in Spruce Pine 
Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends from 1:30 p.m. until the 
service hour at the church. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge 
of arrangements.
