EDMOND T. LOVEN

BAKERSVILLE – Edmond T. Loven, 89, died Monday, July 16, 2001 in the Brian
Center Health Care in Spruce Pine. He was the son of the late Charles and
Carrie Adams Loven. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael
Edmund Loven. He was a self-employed farmer and member of Bakersville United
Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nora Masters Loven of the home;
two daughters, Elaine L. Street of Spruce Pine, and Nora Bolton of Greensboro;
one son, Bill Loven of Bakersville; six grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of
Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Rev. Todd Struble officiated.
Burial followed in Bakersville Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends
from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Memorial donations
