Henline-Hughes Funeral Home
Jean Nancy McGuire age, 74 of Gouges Creek Rd, Spruce Pine, NC passed away May 
18, 2008 in Asheville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mae 
McClellan Thomas, and a native of Mitchell County, NC. She was a member of 
Gouges Creek Baptist Church. 

Survivors include, Daughter, Deborah King, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, and one 
sister, Alice Orsini, of Miami Florida, and three grandchildren, and several 
great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leroy 
McGuire. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May  22 at 3:00PM in Gouges Creek 
Baptist Church with the Reverend Tommy Thomas officiating. The family will 
receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the 
church cemetery.
