ROY L. MCMAHAN 
 
RAYTOWN, MO - Roy L. McMahan, 82, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at his home. 
Born in Spruce Pine, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary McMahan. He 
was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul McMahan. He was a U.S. Army 
veteran of WWII and owned his own car dealership for many years. He was a 
member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Aileen Zoldoske McMahan of the home; a daughter, 
Cindy Farmer of Atlanta Ga.; a son, Roy McMahan Jr. of Greenwood Mo.; two 
brothers, Ted McMahan of Newdale, and Burl McMahan of Fayetteville; a sister, 
Lillian Sparks of Spruce Pine; and three grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Kansas City, Mo., and at 3 
p.m. Wednesday at Poteet Funeral Home in Pawnee, Okla. Burial followed in 
Masham Cemetery. The family received friends from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday at Park 
Lawn Funeral Home in Kansas City. Memorial donations may be made to The 
Alzheimer's Foundation, 3846 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS 66208; or St. 
Luke's Hospice, 3100 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111.
