Henline-Hughes Funeral Home (on-line)
Jay Moffitt age 81, of Toms Creek Rd Bakersville NC passed away June 12, 2008. 
He was a native of Mitchell County NC and the son of the late Robert and Daisy 
Honeycutt Moffitt. He was retired as a Millwright Worker. 

Survivors include; daughter, Louvella Black, of Bakersville, NC, son Arnold 
Moffitt, of Unicoi, TN, daughter in law, Norma Moffitt, of Unicoi, TN, sister 
in law, Lucille Gurganus, of Jasper Alabama, special aunt, Ollie Honeycutt 
Birchfield, grandchildren, Ricky Moffitt, Gregory Moffitt, Shannon Yelton, 
Amanda Yelton, great grandchildren, Don Tyler Jay Moffitt, Dalton Jay Moffitt, 
Austin Jay Moffitt, Julia Moffitt, Wesley Dowell. 

He was preceded in death by; wife, Frances Marie Francis Moffitt, brothers, 
W.G. Moffitt, Oliver Moffitt, George Moffitt. 

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 14 at 8:00PM in the chapel of 
Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Bob McCurry, and John Cullifer officiating. 
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will 
be Sunday, June 15 at 3:00PM at Francis Cemetery on Toms Creek Rd. 

Henline - Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the Moffitt family.
