DAISY MASTERS

SPRUCE PINE – Daisy Masters, 90, of Feldspar Street, died Saturday, July 21,
2001 in a Spruce Pine nursing facility. She was the daughter of the late Don
and Jane Byrd Masters, and a member of First Baptist Church of Spruce Pine.
She was also preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Survivors include a
daughter, Sandy McKinney; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two step
great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. Funeral services were
held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home
in Spruce Pine. Rev. David Vess officiated. Burial was in Spruce Pine Memorial
Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral
home.
