BILLIE JUNE GARLAND MCKINNEY
BAKERSVILLE – Billie June Garland McKinney, 73, of Cane Creek Rd., died 
Monday June 10, 2002 at Lake James Lodge in Marion. She was the daughter 
of the late Fred and Edith Ollis Garland and the wife of Jake McKinney. 
She was prededed in death by a daughter, Janice Buchanan. Survivors include 
husband, Jake McKinney; daughter, Deborah Ayres Hughes; sister, Patsy 
Vaughn; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services were held 
Wednesday June 12, at Henline-ughed Chapel. Revs. Buster Yelton and Don 
Stafford officiated. Burial was in the Bakersville Memorial Cemetery. 
The family recieved friends Wednesday, June 12 at Henline-Hughes Funeral Home.
