WALDEN MCKINNEY

BALTIMORE, MD - Walden McKinney, 75, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002 at 
his home. A native of Mitchell County, he was the son of the late 
George and Mary McKinney of Bakersville. He was also preceded in 
death by three brothers, Wayne, Paul and Bruce McKinney; and one 
sister, Kate Moore. He was a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include two daughters, Ester Stanfield of Pensacola, FL, 
and Sue Nos of Baltimore; three sisters, Georgann Cooke, Jolene 
Singer and Judy Hodge; one brother, Bill McKinney; and one 
granddaughter.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Oct. 30 at St. John's 
Evangelical Luthern Church in Essex, MD.
