ANNIE MAE MCKINNEY

SPRUCE PINE - Annie Mae McKinney, 75, of Locust Avenue, died Friday, 
June 27, 2003 at Spruce Pine Community Hospital. A homemaker, she was 
the daughter of the late Dock and Elsie McKinney. She was also preceded 
in death by one sister, Gladys Pitman; and six brothers, Sam, John, 
Charlie, Paul, Torn and Claude McKinney.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Henline-
Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Bret Jones and Greg Hollifield 
officiated. Burial followed in Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family 
received friends from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
