JACKIE MCKINNEY

NEWLAND - Jackie McKinney, 75, of Wes Jones Road, died Monday, Aug. 11, 
2003 in a Johnson City hospital. A native of Mitchell County, she was 
the daughter of the late Arby and Bertie Woody.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Junior McKinney; sons, Mike and 
Tom Jarrett, both of Bakersville, and Alan McKinney of Spruce Pine; four 
grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Harold Dellinger officiated. 
The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour Wednesday at 
the funeral home.
