WESLEY MILLER 

GREEN MOUNTAIN - Wesley Miller, 69, of Pigeon Roost Road, died Sunday, 
May 16, 2004 at his home. He was the son of the late Nat and Lillie 
Street Miller. He was a former employee of Henredon Furniture Company.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Putman Miller of the home; a daughter, 
Karen Peterson of Green Mountain; sons, Rev. Keith Miller of Bakersville, 
and Kevin Miller of Green Mountain; a sister, Laura Kennard of Spruce Pine; 
a brother, Nat Miller Jr. of Spruce Pine; eight grandchildren; and several 
nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. John Stockton and Clifton McCourry 
officiated. Burial was at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hughes Cemetery on Liddy 
Creek Road. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour 
Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of 
Mitchell County, P.O. box 38, Spruce Pine, NC 28777
