MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Frances Marie Moffitt, 29 Dec 2004

BAKERSVILLE - Frances Marie Moffitt, 75, of Toms Creek Road, died 
Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004 at her home. She was the daughter of the late 
Glenn and Della Johnson Frances. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jay Moffitt of the home; a daughter, 
Louvella Black of Bakersville; a son, Arnold Moffitt of Unicoi, TN; a 
sister, Lucille Gurganus of Parrish, AL; a brother, Paul Frances of 
Johnson City, TN; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Henline-
Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Rev. Bob McCourry officiated. Burial 
was at 11 a.m. Saturday in Frances Cemetery. The family received friends 
from 6 p.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.
