JANE YELTON MOSLEY

KINGSPORT, TN - Jane Yelton Mosley, 91, formerly of Bakersville, 
died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003 at her home. She was the daughter 
of the late Jason and Stella Hill Yelton, and wife of the late 
William R. Mosley. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, 
Betty Gentry; and three brothers, John, George and Claude Yelton. 
She was a member of Buffalo Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and 
the Jonesborough Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Stella Mosley of Salisbury; 
sons, William Mosley of Jonesborough, TN, Samuel H. Mosley of 
Manchester, MD, and Ray Mosley of Bakersville; a sister, Mabel 
Davis of Westminister, MD; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of 
Carter-Trent Funeral Home. Dr. Gene Lasley officiated. Graveside 
services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Rose Lawn Memorial Park 
in Johnson City, TN. The family received friends from 5 p.m. until 
the service hour Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may 
be made to Adventa Hospice, 684 Hwy. 91, Suite 1, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
