MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Ethel Putman Mosely, 8 Feb 2004

BAKERSVILLE - Ethel Putman Mosely, 89, of Bowman Road, died Sunday, 
Feb. 8, 2004 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Russ and 
Dovie Greene Putman, and wife of the late Ben Mosley. A homemaker, 
she was a member of Bean Creek Holiness Church.

Survivors include two sons, Walter and Ben Mosley Jr., both of 
Bakersville; one daughter, Betty Harrell of Bakersville; one sister, 
Daisy Hicks of Johnson City, TN; one brother, Russell Putman of 
Bakersville; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four great 
great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Revs. G.B. Garland and 
Ronnie Gouge officiated. Burial followed in Ben Mosley Memorial Cemetery. 
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour at Henline-
Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville.
