MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Geneva O'Daniel, 30 Jun 2004

SPRUCE PINE - Geneva O'Daniel, 88, of Greenwood Road, formerly of 
Garner, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at her home. She was the daughter 
of the late Walter O. Bailey and Ava Sealey Bailey Blake. She was also 
preceded in death by a son, Ronald O'Daniel. She was a member of Milner 
Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include daughters, Joyce Nutter of Spruce Pine, and Mary Jean 
Dean of Oakdale, MN; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Mitchell 
Funeral Home in Raleigh. Burial was in the Raleigh Community Cemetery. 
The famly received friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour at the 
funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the hospice of your 
choice. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge of local 
arrangements.
