MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Charles Ed Ollis, 14 Sep 2003

CHARLES ED OLLIS

BAKERSVILLE - Charles Ed Ollis, 84, of Fork Mtn. Road, died 
Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003 at his home. He was the son of Ed and 
Elizabeth Harrell Ollis. He was a self-employed farmer and a 
member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Ann Whitson Ollis of the 
home; two daughters, Betty Ollis of Bakersville, and Joann 
Bowers of Westminister, MD; one son, Chrles Wade Ollis of 
Westminister, MD; three grandchildren; and six great 
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of 
Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Adam Brewer, 
Clifford Willis and Ronnie Gouge officiated. Burial was at 
1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Johnson 
City, TN; The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the 
service hour Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations 
may be made to Hospice of Mitchell County, P.O. Box 38, Spruce 
Pine, NC 28777.
