INEZ ELIZABETH PATCH 

GERING, NE - Inez Elizabeth Patch, 73, died Monday, March 19, 2007 at Regional 
West Medical Center. Born in Spruce Pine, she was the daughter of the late 
Lewis and Vernie Hollifield Cresawn. She was also preceded in death by two 
brothers, Thurman and Harold; sisters, Delores and Margaret. She had been 
employed in several jobs, including lab technician, librarian, cashier and a 
teacher's aide. She also worked with children with developmental disabilities. 
She was a Girl Scout leader, as well as a Cub Scout leader.

She is survived by her husband Benjamin Patch of the home; a daughter, Barbara 
Legee of Kingston, N.H.; a son Robert Patch of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters Jean 
Bishop of Baltimore, Md., and Diane Keaton of Hilderbran; three grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on March 23, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral 
Chapel in Scottsbluff, Neb. The Rev. Guy Walton officiated. Cremation was at 
Sunset Memorial Park. Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery, near Hartsville, 
Tenn. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
