ORA MAE HUGHES PETERSON 

BAKERSVILLE - Ora Mae Hughes Peterson, 87, of Whitson Branch Road, died 
Tuesday, March 21, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Dan and Etta Deyton 
Hughes, and wife of the late Will Peterson.

Survivors include sisters, Lenoir Webb, Aza Hughes, Belva Deyton and Edna 
Hughes; and two grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Rev. Rodney Deyton officiated. Burial was at 10 
a.m. Thursday in the Peterson Family Cemetery. The family received friends from 
7 p.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
