INA MAE PADGETT
BAKERSVILLE - Ina Mae Padgett, 86, of Greenville, SC, died Wednesday, 
Sept. 25, 2002. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Julia Hoyle 
Harris, and wife of the late Clay Lee Padgett. A member of Bakersville 
United Methodist Church, she was employed by Spruce Pine Community 
Hospital as a physical therapist for 22 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Louise Earley of Greenville, SC; a 
son, Robert Lee Padgett of Greenville; sisters, Evelyn Osgoodby of Miami, 
FL, Jesse Coggins of Jonesborough, TN, and Louise Lovett of Erwin, TN; 
six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Henline-
Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Rev. David Lee officiated. Burial 
followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin. The family received friends 
from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
