FRANK ALONZO PHILLIPS

BAKERSVILLE – Frank Alonzo Phillips, 68, died at his home in Yakima, WA on 
Saturday, March 19, 2002. Born in Yancey County, he was the son of the late 
Arthur Phillips and Edythe Hensley Phillips of Spruce Pine.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Jimmy Phillips of 
North Carolina; and four sisters, Carol Gladden, Polly Phillips, Peggy McSwain 
and Nellie Cole, all of North Carolina.
Funeral services were held in Yakima, WA. Local arrangements were by Henline-
Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville.
