GARRET C. PITTMAN
PONCA CITY, OK - Garret C. "Gary" Pittman, 80, died Saturday, July 20, 
2002 at Shawn Manor Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Elzie and 
Lillie Wise Pittman. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, and 
two sisters. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII, and the United 
States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired physical therapist. 
He was a member of Westernwood Baptist Church and attended Northeast Baptist 
Church.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Pittman of the home; children, Gary 
Wayne Pittman of Johnson City, TN, Carolyn Fowler of Wichita Falls, TX, 
Barbara Dillard of Newkirk, OK, Bobby Wester of Keller, TX, and Connie 
Foxx of Newbury Park, CA; one sister, Dee Kurucz of Spruce Pine; eight 
grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Park 
Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Larry E. Nigh officiated.
