ETHEL OLLIS PITTMAN

DREXEL - Ethel Ollis Pittman, 88, formerly of Spruce Pine, died 
Thursday, February 25, 2003 in a Valdese hospital. She was the 
daughter of the late Doc and Louise Mace Ollis, and wife of the 
late Ernest B. Pittman.
Survivors include her daughters, Naomi Phillips and Katy Anthony, 
both of Drexel; one son, L. Eugene Pittman of Las Vegas, NV; 16 
grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grindstaff 
Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Wendell 
Parlier officiated. Burial was in Green Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. 
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour Thursday 
at the funeral home.
