DOLIVER PRITCHARD

PLUMTREE – Doliver Pritchard, 91, died Thursday, October 18, 2001 after a 
period of declining health. He was the son of the late Tillman and Faitha 
Jones Pritchard, and husband of the late Dixie Stafford Pritchard. A member of 
Yellow Mountain Baptist Church, he was retired from Tar Heel Mica Company.
Survivors include two nieces, Sandra Lance and Yvonne McKinney, both of 
Newland; a nephew, Charles Buchanan of Plumtree; one sister-in-law; and three 
brothers-in-law.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Yellow Mountain Baptist Church. 
Revs. Jude Hughes and ken Lance officiated. Burial followed in the church 
cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Webb Funeral 
Home in Spruce Pine.
