HOBERT PETERSON

GREEN MOUNTAIN – Hobert Peterson, 88, of Poplar Creek Road, died Thursday, 
March 14, 2002 at his home. He was the son of the late Jake and Emzora Hughes 
Peterson, and husband of the late Dollie M. Peterson. An iron worker, he 
attended Pigeon Roost Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his caregiver and nephew, Glen Peterson and wife, Sue; and 
several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Marvin Miller and Larry Peterson 
officiated. Burial followed in Roselawn Cemetery. The family received friends 
from 1 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
