JULIA BARNETT RENFRO

BAKERSVILLE - Julia Barnett Renfro, 85, of the Red Hill community, 
died May 19, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was 
the daughter of the late Joe and Isabelle Arrowood Barnett, and wife 
of the late Harry Fritz and Edgar Renfro. She was also preceded in 
death by five sisters and three brothers. She was a member of 
Brummitts Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Pearl Kennedy of Elkton, MD; two brothers, 
Chester Barnett of Bristol, TN,and Roy Barnett of Texas; and several 
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of 
Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Paul Bennett, 
Rodney Deyton and Richard Sparks officiated. Burial was in Union 
Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the 
service hour at the funeral home.
