RUBY OLLIS SNYDER 

SPRUCE PINE - Ruby Ollis Snyder, 77, of the Henson Creek community, died 
Friday, Sept. 8, 2006 in the Brian Center. She was the daughter of the late 
Leonard and Lockie Ollis. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria 
Jean Snyder; and a son, Ted Snyder. She was a member of Yellow Mountain 
Baptist Church.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Cecil Snyder, of the home; brothers, Lacey 
Ollis and Ford Ollis, both of Ohio; two nieces; and two nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. The Rev. Dan Snyder officiated. 
Burial followed in the Yellow Mountain Cemetery. The family received friends 
from 10 a.m. until the service hour Thursday at the funeral home.
