WILLIE GRAY THOMAS SPARKS 

BENTON, TN - Willie Gray Thomas Sparks, 72, formerly of Spruce Pine, died 
Thursday, March 2, 2006 in a Cleveland, TN hospital. She was the daughter of 
Corb and Geneva Thomas, and wife of the late Paul Sparks. She was also preceded 
in death by two brothers, Ben and Claude Thomas; and three sisters, Dorothy 
Stuart, Madge Gurley and Mae Hollifield.

Survivors include three sons, Dennis and Jerry Roberts, both of Durham, and 
Jayson Sparks of Greencove Springs, FL; three daughters, Vicki Seilheimer and 
Jewell Burch, both of Benton, and Lori Roberts of Ft. Wayne, IN; two sisters, 
Gladys Richards of Shelby, and Maude Roberts of Bahama; nine grandchildren; and 
two great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Big Crabtree Baptist Church. 
Rev. Dean Honeycutt officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The 
family received friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Webb Funeral Home 
in Spruce Pine.
