FRANK SPARKS

SPRUCE PINE - Frank Sparks, 77, of Minpro Road, died Friday, Jan. 24, 
2003 at his home. He was the son of the late Ace and Dollie English Sparks. 
A member of Bear Creek Baptist Church, he was a security guard for Henredon 
Furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Jenella Henson Sparks of the home; daughters, 
Sondra Washburn of Spruce Pine, and Judy Sparks of Marion; sons, Larry 
Sparks and Ronnie Presnell, both of Spruce Pine, and Benny Sparks of Marion; 
sisters, Ruth Duncan and Edith Buchanan, both of Bakersville; a brother, 
Buster Sparks of Bakersville; 10 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. J.J. Orr and Dallas Renfro officiated. 
Burial was in Bear Creek Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior 
to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the 
American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, GA 30368-2454.
