MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Myrtle Marie Stepp, 22 Jun 2005

Myrtle Marie Stepp, 92, of Spruce Pine, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at
the Brian Center in Spruce Pine. A native of Chase City, VA. She was the
daughter of the late Bill and Sophie Dimsdale Stepp and was the wife of Dink
Ruff. Myrtle was a member of Coopers Gap Baptist Church in Mill Springs. She
was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vea Greene. 

She is survived by six grandchildren all of Spruce Pine. 

Funeral services were be held at 2 p.m. June 24, at Coopers Gap Baptist Church
in Mill Springs. Pastor Mike Grindstaff officiated. Burial followed in the
Coopers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends one hour
prior to the services at the church and at other times at the home on Feldspar
Street in Spruce Pine.
