MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Lt. Col. Jimmie Street, 19 Sep 2004

JACKSON, MI - Lt. Col. Jimmie Street, 74, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 
2004 at Foote Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from 
Holda Appliance. He was preceded in death by his mother and father;
three brothers; and four sisters.  Survivors include his wife, Trudy Street of 
the home; two sons, James and Harlow Street; four grandchildren; five great 
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wetherby Funeral 
Home. Dr. Brian Wills officiated. A private burial followed in Roseland 
Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
