JOSEPHINE TERLINDE 

ROCK HILL, SC - Josephine Pittman Terlinde, 83, of Green Street Plaza, died 
Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008 at Piedmont Medical Center. A native of Spruce Pine, she 
was the daughter of the late John and Hannah Bartlette Pittman, and wife of 
the late William A. Terlinde. She was a homemaker and member of Saint Anne's 
Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd A. Terlinde of Rock Hill; two daughters, Arlene 
Claire Phillips of Wallace, and Patricia D. Sutton of Rock Hill; 11 
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. 

A funeral mass was held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Anne's Catholic Church. 
Father William Pentis officiated. Burial was at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bear Creek 
Cemetery. The family received friends at the church following the service. 
Memorial donations may be made to Saint Anne's Catholic Church Building Fund, 
1694 Bird Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
