BARBARA TRIVETTE 

PLUMTREE - Barbara Jean Trivette, 73, died Monday, April 30, 2007. She was the 
daughter of the late Robert and Vaught Isaacs Singleton, and wife of the late 
Luther Reuben Trivette. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty 
Singleton and Mary Singleton. She had been employed by Ellen's Knitting Mill 
and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Young of Three Mile; two 
sons, Lynn Allen Singleton of Beech Bottoms, and Robert Trivette of Plumtree; 
a sister, Coleen Singleton of Henson Creek; a brother, Sam Singleton of Henson 
Creek; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and 
nephews. 

Graveside and memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Yellow Mountain 
Cemetery. The Rev. Russell Hoilman officiated. Burial followed the services. 
Yancey Funeral Services assisted the family.
