NORA VANGLEE TOLLEY
SPRUCE PINE – Nora Vanglee Tolley died Wednesday, June 26, 2002 in the 
Brian Center of Spruce Pine. She was the daughter of the late Henry and 
Rebecca Murphy Tipton, and wife of the late Samson Tolley. She was a 
member of Big Crabtree Baptist Church.
Survivors include a half-brother, Frank Tipton of Elon College; one 
special niece, Lucy Grindstaff of Spruce Pine; and several other nieces 
and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Gerald Grindstaff 
officiated. Burial followed in Big Crabtree Baptist Church Cemetery. 
The family received friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour Friday.
