MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Junior James Trivette, 3 Aug 2004

SPRUCE PINE - James Trivette, 73, of the Gouges Creek community, died 
Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004 at his home. He was the son of the late Sam and 
Rosa McClellan Trivette. He was a member of Gouges Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Buchanan Trivette of the home; a 
daughter, Rachel Murdock of Bakersville; sons, Gerald and Charles 
Trivette, both of Marion; sisters, Frances Woody of Newland and Maude 
Thomas of Spruce Pine; brothers, Reuben and Phillip Trivette, both of 
Spruce Pine; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gouges Creek Baptist 
Church. Revs. Tommy Thomas and Donnie Thomas officiated. Burial was in 
the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday 
at Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
