Margie Sparks Townsend

Deceased  --  Jan. 23, 2001, Margie Sparks Townsend, age 73,  of Henderson
Co., NC., formerly of Mitchell Co.   Burial in Bear Creek Cemetery.
She was daughter of Jeter Sparks and wife Effie Buchanan Sparks.
Survivors are daughters Mrs. Wayne Rivers and Mrs. Ray Miller, both of
Henderson Co., son Darrell Townsend of Raleigh, NC., sisters Louise Sparks
Aldredge of Black Mountain, NC., Anna Mae Sparks Wilson, Betty Sparks
Burleson and Dorothy Sparks Smith, all of Mitchell Co.,  Agnes Sparks Forbes
of Myrtle Beach, SC., Wanda Sparks Perkinson of Henderson Co., brothers
Bruce Sparks and Pastor Gary Sparks, both of Mitchell Co., and one grandson.
