MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Marjorie Vance, 26 Dec 2004

SPRUCE PINE - Marjorie Vance, 82, of Vance Farm Road, died Sunday, 
Dec. 26, 2004 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. She was the daughter 
of the late Willard G. and Lula Mae Hall Vance, and wife of the late 
Gordon Vance. She was a member of Spruce Pine Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Tom Blair of Spruce Pine; a sister, Ileen 
Vance Hughes of Johnson City, TN; and two granddaughters.
 
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Andrew Mitchell officiated. 
Burial was at 10 a.m. Thursday in Vance Family Cemetery. The family received 
friends from 5 p.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
