Henline-Hughes Funeral Home
Johnnie Irene Webb, age 79, of Bakersville, NC, passed away January 2, 2009 at 
Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC.  She was a native of Belmont, 
NC, and was the daughter of the late Hemphil and Mena Ellington Hollis.  She 
was previously employed by Bendix Radio.  She was a member of Cub Creek Baptist 
Church.  

Survivors include: daughter, Carolyn Lynn Lancaster and husband Gary of Middle 
River, MD, son, John Martin Webb and wife Debra of Bakersville, NC, 
grandchildren, Jeff, Heather, Baddeley, and Heidi Webb, Gary and Chris 
Lancaster, great grandchildren, Benjamin, Vincent, Remington, Kaitlen, Hope, 
Talon, Chasity, Justin, Tristen, and Jonathan. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin P. Webb, who passed away in 
2003.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 8:00 PM in the Chapel 
of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville, NC.  The family will receive 
friends two hours prior to the service.  Billy Stewart will be officiating the 
service.  Interment will be Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 12:00 PM at the Fork 
Mountain Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  

Henline-Hughes is assisting the Webb family.
