DANVILLE, VA - Helen Dorothy Williams, 89, formerly of Spruce Pine, died 
Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005 at Menno Haven Nursing Home. Born in Ingalls, she was 
the daughter of the late Cain and Savannah Buchanan Triggs, and wife of the 
late John Williams. She was a school teacher, then she and her husband owned 
and operated Williams Photograhy Studio in Danville. She was an active member 
of First Baptist Church of Danville, was a member of the Pilot Club and taught 
calligraphy for the Danville Parks and Recreation.

Survivors include a daughter, Jane Edwards of Hagerstown, MD; four 
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. 

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. View Cemetery. Rev. 
Joe Northern officiated. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist 
Church, 871 Main Street, Danville, VA 24541.
