NELLIE WILLIS 

SPRUCE PINE - Nellie Willis, 84, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006 in the Brian Center 
in Spruce Pine. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Cordie 
Cook Tolley, and wife of the late William Willis. She was also preceded in 
death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include six nieces; and several grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and 
other relatives. 

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Spruce Pine Church of God. The 
Rev. Bud Atkins officiated. Burial followed in Grassy Creek Memorial Gardens. 
The family received friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour Monday at the 
church. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine assisted the family.
