LILLIAN MARIE WILSON COLLIS 

SPRUCE PINE - Lillian (Marie) Wilson Collis, 86, of Dula Road, died Friday, 
Aug. 19, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Kirk and Annie McKinney 
Wilson, and wife of the late Everette James Collis. She was a member of Grassy 
Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Greene of Burnsville; a son, Mike 
Collis of Spruce Pine; a sister, Louise Hollifield of Asheville; a brother, 
Glen Wilson of Pekin, IL; and two grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Grassy Creek Baptist Church. 
Revs. Larry Greene and Matthew Mills officiated. Burial was in Grassy Creek 
Cemetery. The family received friends from 3 p.m. until the service hour at 
the church. Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville was in charge of 
arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Mitchell County, 
P.O. Box 38, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
