CARRIE LOUISE STEWART WISE 
 
BAKERSVILLE - Carrie Louise Stewart Wise, 70, of Stewart Road, died Sunday, 
June 3, 2007 at her home. She was the daughter of the late George and Rosa 
Butner Stewart and the wife of the late John V. Wilson and Wayne Wise. She was 
also preceded in death by brothers, Harry, Frank and Lewis Stewart.

Survivors include her son, Roger Vernon Wilson of Bakersville; brothers, 
George Stewart Jr. and Charles Lee Stewart of Bakersville; Tom Stewart of 
Valdese; Jimmy Stewart of Connelly Springs, NC; sisters, Virginia Watson of 
Spruce Pine; Dorothy Sparks of Bakersville; Grace Robinson of Morganton and 
Martha Wright of Valdese. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in the 
Grindstaff Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The family received friends 
one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial followed in the Bear 
Creek Cemetery.
