MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Georgie L. Webb, 19 Dec 2004

GREENEVILLE, TN - Georgie L. Webb, 96, of Holt Court, died Sunday, 
Dec. 19, 2004 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. A homemaker, she was the 
daughter of the late Thomas and Harriet Webb, and wife of the late 
Blanton Webb. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Carrie McCurry; 
and a brother, Carl Webb.

Survivors include a daughter, Kate Derry of Michigan; a son, John Webb 
of Bakersville; a stepson, Mack Webb of Greeneville; a sister, Artie 
Whaley of Spruce Pine; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Kiser 
Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Sparks officiated. Burial was at noon Wednesday 
in Union Hill Cemetery in Bakersville. The family received friends from 
1 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
