MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - June Honeycutt Wiggins, 8 Aug 2004

SPRUCE PINE - June Honeycutt Wiggins died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004 at 
Wesley Long Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mollie Boone 
Honeycutt and Allen White Honeycutt Sr. She was also preceded in death 
by a brother, Allen Honeycutt Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Cherry Wiggins of the home; a son, Fred 
Allen Self of Greensboro; two daughters, Babette Leah Leffler of 
Charlottesville, Va, and Jennifer Nicole Moore of Greensboro; sister, 
Barbara Duncan Stogner of Spruce Pine; a brother, Tony Honeycutt of 
Newdale; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Holt Whitson officiated. 
Burial was in Rebels Creek Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 
p.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
